This is Getting Pretty Real
Before and After: Co’s 1st Haircut
We went to a place called Sit Still, in West Linn. Co seemed to like the place and did really well through out the entire ordeal. Here are some photos of the salon.
Co Walkin
Just an update on Co’s mobility.
A Baby Needs His Mama
Well, that poor baby whale was euthanized…so sad. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26325489/ It just could not live without his mama. That story just breaks my heart!
As you know, I work full time and Mo is home full time. Mo will be teaching a couple of classes this Fall and doing some freelance work here and there. It has been a huge and hard adjustment…for all of us. I just miss Co like crazy.
There is the quote that states, “Making the decision to have a child – it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” (Author: Elizabeth Stone) It is so true. Co is my heart.
I know that he is in the best possible hands when I am away from him, but it doesn’t change the fact that sometimes a baby just needs his mama (and his mama needs him). Truth be told, I am fairly certain that Mo is Co’s heart…he looks at his daddy and just beams and cracks up laughing. With me, Co opens his mouth real wide and tries to attack me (gumming and drooling all over me)…I am a walking food source. Oh well, I still adore him.
Home again
Well we have made it! Both Co and Jo were discharged from the hospital yesterday at 3:15 pm. We made it through a whole day home. Lots of sleeping, eating, and crying from all parties.
